Muskoka Upholstery Helps Surgical Mask Shortage

MARCH 2020: COVID-19 has given us an opportunity to extend a helping hand, accept a helping hand, and to find new ways to remain in touch. Here in cottage country there is a shortage of hospital medical masks. Muskoka Upholstery has stepped up to organize and spearhead a `home sewing" grass roots effort to keep our population safe by producing much needed hospital masks for our region. Curtis and Paula of Muskoka Upholstery have secured 5,000 yards of material ready to go and at the moment have enough people to sew.

If additional sewers are needed we are on standby, together with others, to help spread the word and will keep you posted!!
