MLA WEBINAR: Water Levels Past, Present, Future

Join the Muskoka Lakes Association on Tuesday March 23rd, 2021 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm via ZOOM for an informative webinar on Water Levels in Muskoka.
Spring in Muskoka is a time of anticipation as cottage owners watch the snow melt and ice break up, harbingers for the promise of the summer ahead. The changing of the seasons gets us back on the water and back outside and, especially in a year like this one, this is something we all are looking forward to. However, with 3 floods in the last 6 years, waterfront property owners are also anxiously anticipating the seemingly, unpredictable, and dramatic change in water levels that follows the melt.
The MLA is proud to host Muskoka Lakes Water Levels – Past, Present and Future webinar to give waterfront property owners a better understanding of how spring flooding happens, how we manage water levels today and what future water level management in Muskoka could look like. Have your questions answered by our experts from the MLA, District of Muskoka, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and the Muskoka Watershed Advisory Group in this informative session.
